All shells are delicate (some more than others); therefore, it is recommended that your jewelry is stored appropriately and handled gently (not dropped, misused) to avoid breakage. Kristi Jones Designs is not responsible for shell breakage due to misuse or careless handling.

Your jewelry purchase is not waterproof! Avoid exposing your jewelry to moisture! For example, never wear your jewelry while swimming, steambathing, showering, etc., and do not submerge it in water to clean.

Do not expose your jewelry to extreme temperatures. Mother nature's treasures, especially bamboo and seeds, can be brittle and may split, crack or warp if exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

All finishings (clasps, earwires, etc.) made with sterling silver will require occasional polishing. Jewelry polishing cloths are available at your local jewelry stores.
